Whole Roasting Pigs
A whole roast pig is a spectacular main dish that will make your event memorable. We can supply your next spit barbecue or luau with a tender, rich and flavorful roaster. Our roasters come wrapped and frozen. As with all of our meat, they are processed at a USDA facility.
When should I order?
The sooner, the better. We need 2-4 weeks notice to guarantee your order, if we have the proper size pig in stock. All orders depend on availability of our current stock, but we usually have plenty. Sometimes we have a few extra roasters in the deep freeze, so they might be available immediately.
Be sure to allow 2 – 4 days to defrost before preparation. Deep freeze is -10 degrees F!
How much should I order?
Roasters weigh 35 to 200 pounds or more, hanging weight. General rule of thumb: 2 pounds per person if it’s the only meat served at your event.
How much does it cost?
Cost per pound varies. We bill through Square or you can pay by credit card or cash at a Meat Club event.
Delivery must be arranged ahead of time. You can pick up your roaster at a Meat Club event or we can deliver it to you for a fee.
